Ernestine "Tina" Charles Ruiz, 67, of San Angelo, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Tina was born on March 28, 1949 to Sisto and Maria (Rendon) Charles in San Angelo. She worked for Levi Strauss for over 15 years before becoming a certified nurse's aide, as an aide she worked for Baptist Memorial Retirement Center for 6 years before retiring. On December 22, 1980, she married Guadalupe (Robert) Ruiz in Coleman, Texas. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and bringing laughter to those around her. Tina touched many lives throughout her life. Her home was a sanctuary to many. Tina is survived by her son, Robert Ruiz, Jr.; daughters, Rose Ruiz, Angela Ruiz; brothers, Sisto Charles, Jr., David (Mary) Charles all of San Angelo; sisters, Helen (Patrick) Lee, Olga (Timothy) Lee both of Loveland, CO, Rita (Fernando) Santillan, Linda Charles; grandchildren, Robert Ruiz, III, Raquel Jasso, Rocky Rojas and Priscilla Ruiz all of San Angelo. Along with her cherished pet chihuahua, Chiquita. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sisto and Maria Charles, husband, Guadalupe Robert Ruiz, Sr. and son, Daniel Jessie Ruiz. Prayer service will be held at 7pm on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11am on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery, with Pastor Aron Gonzales of Jireh House Ministries, officiating. Arrangements by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Charles, Jr., Mark Charles, Adam Santillan, Stephen Charles, Robert Ruiz, III and Ysaias Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Cage and Aron Gonzales. There will be a meal for the family and friends after the graveside service at Jireh House Ministries, 1414 N.
