Aurelia Salas

Aurelia Salas, 81, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020, in San Angelo surrounded by family. Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday, January 27, 2020, and from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Salas was born January 10, 1939, in Panna Maria. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 2012 moving from Odessa. Aurelia married Jesus Salas in 1969 in Kyle, he preceded her in death on March 22, 1984. She was a homemaker. Aurelia was a Catholic. She was an avid gardener, loving to take care of her trees and flower beds. Aurelia enjoyed taking care of her animals. Survivors include three children, Vivian Rivera and husband Macario of Snyder, Jessie Salas of San Angelo, and Bidal Salas and wife Amanda of Ft. Worth; two brothers, Lurden Cano of Helena, and Jose Cano and wife Yolanda of Victoria; 13 grandchildren, Victoria Carrillo of San Angelo, Adam Rivera, Andy Rivera and wife Janie, Rosemary Rivera, Alex Rivera, Michael Rivera, Louis Rivera, Jasmine Martinez, Jayden Salas, Jayme Salas all of Snyder, Kaylee Salas, Hydee Salas, Haggen Salas all of Ft. Worth. Aurelia was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary Cano; and a brother, Richard Cano.
