Angel Alfonso Rico DeLeon

Angel Rico, 23, of Big Lake passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Odessa.

Visitation will be at 12:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at Roca Eterna in Big Lake. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Roca Eterna in Big Lake with Pastor Omar Rodriguez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Rico was born on July 30, 1998 in Cuidad Acuña, Mexico. He moved to Big Lake in 2004 and graduated from Reagan County High School in 2016. After high School Angel went to work in the oilfield. He was always happy, never in a bad mood, and loved being with his family. Angel loved to cook and barbeque in the backyard and was the life of the party.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Lucia Nicole Jimenez.

Those left to cherish Angel are his wife, Angela Rico of Cuidad Acuña; his son, Alejandro Ponce of Acuña; his parents, David and Luz Jimenez of Big Lake; his paternal grandparents, Julian and Juanita Jimenez of Big Lake; his maternal grandparents, Maria DeLeon of Big Lake and Jose Alfonso Rico of Acuña; his three brothers, David Jimenez, Joel Jimenez, and Jacob Jimenez, all of Big Lake; his sister, Angela Julitte Jimenez of Big Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
