Billy McMeekin

Billy Jack McMeekin, 65, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, in San Angelo.

No services are scheduled. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. McMeekin was born September 7, 1958 in Slaton. Billy was a devoted father to his three children. Billy had a passion for whittling miniature gun replicas and crafting necklaces. Billy found joy in creating these intricate pieces and sharing them with his loved ones.

Survivors include his two sons, Michael McMeekin of San Angelo, and Benjamin McMeekin and wife Teya of Kingsland; a daughter, Jackie McMeekin of San Angelo; three brothers, Bobby McMeekin and wife Anna, Steve McMeekin both of Mathis, and Sam McMeekin in and wife Cheryl of LaPorte; two sisters, Annie Helms and husband Russell of Corpus Christi, and Alice Cranford and husband Trey of Orange Grove.

Billy is preceded in death by his father, A.J. McMeekin; his mother, and Mittie Roberts White McMeekin; and a brother, Jonah Leon Stapleton.
