Erminia Sauceda Flores

Erminia Sauceda Flores, 75, of Mertzon passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Liturgy of the Word service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with The Very Rev. Santiago Udayar, pastor at Holy Angels Catholic Church, officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Flores was born on July 30, 1947 in Hondo to Antonio and Esperanza Sauceda. She spent most of her life in Mertzon.  Erminia was a housekeeper and caregiver for nearly 60 years.  She enjoyed being the matriarch of her family.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sowing, spending time in her yard and having family gatherings and cooking for her family.

She is survived by her son Richard Flores and wife Claire of San Angelo; two daughters, Allison Flores of Lubbock and Elsa Flores of Mertzon; a sister, Anita Sauceda of Lubbock; six brothers, Manual Sauceda of Eastland, Robert Sauceda, Pete Sauceda, and Tony Sauceda all of Plainview, Rudy Sauceda of Andrews, and Ernest Sauceda of Hobbs, ; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
