Fidel C. Flores

Fidel Flores, 78, of San Angelo passed away Saturday, February 5, 2022 in San Angelo.
Public viewing will be from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Family visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Alex Tenorio, pastor at House of Restoration Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
Mr. Flores was born on November 28, 1943 in Mexico. Fidel moved to San Angelo in 1960s. He worked at cotton gins in Wall, Mareta, and Veribest. He enjoyed collecting antiques, including old cars, tools, and anything else he could find. He enjoyed riding his bike, around his neighborhood, for exercise. Fidel was a Christian and enjoyed visiting with others about his savior, Jesus Christ. He never met a stranger and was a loving neighbor.
Fidel was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Christopher Flores.
Survivors include his seven children, Fidel Flores, Jr. and wife Jovita of Garland, Alfredo Flores and wife Griselda and Ana Cabrera and husband Jose, both of San Angelo, Ruben Flores and wife Claudia, Gerardo Flores and wife Eva, Miguel Flores and wife Elida, and Aracely Flores and Husband Horacio Banda, all of Acuña, Mexico; a sister, Anita Flores of Acuña, Mexico; a brother, Ignacio Flores and wife Maria Elena of Mexico City; the mother of his children, Olga Zapata; 23 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
