Gnanamalar "Karen" Scales, 64, passed away Friday, November 1, 2019, in San Anglo. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Pastor Steven Hamm, pastor of the Cross Road Assemblies of God Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mrs. Scales was born October 28, 1955, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 2000. Karen married Leo Scales on October 28, 2000, in San Angelo. Karen was a homemaker. She was a member of Cross Road Assemblies of God Church where she was able to go to India, Czech Republic and her home country of Malaysia on several missionary trips, and also a member of the Ministerial Alliance. Survivors include her husband, Leo of the home; two brothers, Ravi Panandam of Australia and Mahen Panadam of Malaysia; three sisters, Jothi Panandam, Sheera Xavier and Jeya Panandam all of Malaysia; Preceded in death by her parents.
