Dolores A. Soto Hernandez, age 90, passed away on Friday, December 3, 2004 at her residence. Rosary was held 7:00 pm on Saturday, December 4, 2004 at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Abel Fernandez officiating. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6, 2004 at Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Floydada, Texas. Burial will follow at Floydada Cemetery. Mrs. Hernandez was born to Santos Moses Adame and Luz Soto on April 4, 1914 in Mathis, Texas. She was married to Apolonio Hernandez on August 3, 1931 in Bryan, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband; brothers Anastancio, Benjamin, Moses, Lupe, Mateo Adame; sisters Petra, Adelita, Elvira, Benancia Adame. She is survived by her sons Tomas Hernandez and wife Virginia of Floydada, Noberto Hernandez of Floydada, Lorenzo Hernandez Sr. of San Angelo, Santos Hernandez and wife Rosa of Floydada; daughters Noberta Flores and husband Jesse of Bryan, Angelita Ramirez and husband Francisco of Amarillo, Luz A. Hernandez of San Angelo, Rosa Perez of San Angelo; thirty-nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and adopted children Marcelo Lara, Dominga Barraza and Jose Hernandez. Pallbearers, all grandsons, are Tomas Hernandez Jr., Larry Hernandez, Santos Hernandez Jr., Raymundo Martinez Jr., Ishmael Flores, and Francisco Ramirez Jr. The family would like to send a special thank you to Marisol Torres and Jenny, Shannon and Sharon from Vista Care Hospice.
