Jeanette Louise Gillette

Jeanette Gillette, 83, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2023.

Viewing will be from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 3, 2023 at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Friday at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Jeanette was born on July 1, 1940 in Mc Camey as the only child to Robert and Louise Gill Gillette. She loved riding horses and competing as a barrel racer. Jeanete graduated from Angelo State University with a Bachelor's degree in Geology. She worked at the San Angelo Standard Times as a journalist and weather reporter. Jeanette was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for over 30 years. She was an amateur photographer and loved nature.

She is survived by her neighbors, Johnny and Polly Boughan; and her caregiver Kayla Rodriguez.
