JOE ESCOBEDO SR.

Joe Escobedo Sr., 62, of San Angelo, passed away Wednesday, March 09, 2005 in a local hospital Mass of Christian service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 12, 2005 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Terry Brenon officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Joe was born August 31, 1942 in Muzquiz, Coah., Mexico and married June 3rd 1963 to a wonderful lady named Juanita Trevino. They moved to San Angelo in 1972 and have four children. He worked at Angelo Glass and Mirror for thirty-two years. He retired in January of 2004. He loved to dance and listen to his favorite music. Joe was a wonderful inspiration bringing joy and laughter to all his family and friends. His presence will be missed, but his memory will be everlasting. He is preceded in death by his mother Maria A. Escobedo, two brothers Ramiro Escobedo, Rogelio Escobedo and one sister Julia Echeverria. Survivors are: His loving wife:Juanita Escobedo Daughter:Maria E. Blanco and husband, Robert Three sons: Hector Escobedo and wife, Sylvia Joe Escobedo, Jr and wife, Gina All of San Angelo Jose Mendoza Escobedo and wife, Dee Of Lufkin, TX Brother:Gilberto Escobedo Of Abilene Two sisters:Lydia Vasquez Pura Abalos Both of Del Rio Two special sisters-in-law: Ramona Estrada Lupita Garcia Both of San Angelo Fifteen loving Grandchildren: Numerous loving nieces and nephews and special friend Hector Martinez. Pallbearers are John Robles, Fernando Bara, Joey Escobedo Jr., Martin Morales, Johnny Castillo, Hector Martinez, Jesse Alvarado and Saul Echeverria.
