Joe “JOJO” Maldonado, Jr.

Joe Maldonado, Jr. aka JOJO, 30, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at home.

Celebration of life services will be 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Grape Creek Fire Department, 7912 Wren, Grape Creek, TX. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Maldonado was born on May 8, 1993 in San Angelo and graduated from San Angelo Central High School in 2001. JoJo worked for Republic, Walmart, and Angelo Pellets. At the time of his death he was working as an Uber driver. JoJo was a happy, loving, protective son, brother, nephew, and cousin. He loved playing video games and with his dog, Damian. He and his father were inseparable.

He is survived by his father, Joe Maldonado, Sr.; his mother, Sandra Zapata; his brother, Mario Roy Zapata; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
