Julio Hernandez, Jr., 68, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023, in San Angelo.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with David Henry, pastor of San Angelo First, officiating.

Mr. Hernandez was born December 20, 1954 in Eloy, Arizona to Julio and Virginia Hernandez. Julio was a lifelong resident of San Angelo where he was a 1973 graduate of Central High School. Julio enlisted into the US Army and was very proud to serve his country. He worked for Terrill Manufacturing Co., McDonald's, and retired from Town and Country in 2000. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys, and golf with Jordan. Julio had an interest in studying welding. He enjoyed listening to Tejano music and enjoyed going on fishing trips with his friend, David Martinez

Survivors include a son, Jordan Hernandez of San Angelo; a daughter, Lena Hernandez of San Angelo; two brothers, Placido "Patches" Hernandez and wife Tomasa of Big Spring, and Jesse Trinidad of Cleburne; a sister, Rosa Castro of San Angelo. Julio was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Erma DelaGarza, and Doralicia Hernandez.
