LORI ANN OLVERA

"Oie" as she was called by family, was called by her Creator from her earthly home while surrounded by the presence of her loving and caring family on February 12, 2005. A Rosary service will be recited at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, February 15, 2005 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian service will be celebrated on 10:00 AM, Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Quirino Cornejo officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Lori was born on October 13, 1975, in San Angelo, the second child, to Ricky and Patricia Luna. Lori leaves her family with several precious memories of her devotion to her God and family. Lori is best described by her many friends as a kind, loving, and caring person who cherished and enjoyed spending her time with her son. She will always be remembered and admired for her outstanding faith, strength, and courage she showed during her illness. Lori graduated from Lake View High School in 1994 and she married her High School sweetheart Angel Olvera on February 18, 1995. Their marriage was blessed with the birth of their son, Noah Ysmeal Olvera. Lori was preceded in death by her paternal Grandmother Maria P. Luna, maternal Great-grandparents Isabel and Ysmeal Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband, Angel Olvera, son Noah Ysmeal Olvera, parents Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Luna, sisters Cassandra Dominguez and husband, Johnny, Miranda Luna and fiancé, Ashby Franklin, brother Raymond Luna and fiancé, Frances Lopez, all of San Angelo and brother Richard Luna and wife, Sarah of Abilene, maternal Grandmother Ophelia Zepeda of Austin, paternal Grandfather Catarino G. Luna of San Angelo, numerous special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Richard Bejil, Gilbert Velez, Frank Hernandez, Manuel Robles, Daniel Ray Lara and David Olvera. The family would like to give a special thank you to the Shannon ICU nurses, Gracie Aguirre, Sherrie Delgado and Elizabeth Silver; all of the HOSA nurses and staff. May God richly bless all of you who visited, prayed, sent food, and have gone the extra mile to help us during this time of sorrow. The family requests that Memorials be sent to Hospice of San Angelo, 36 E. Twohig Ste. 1100, San Angelo, 76903.
