Louis Hernandez Polanco

Louis Hernandez Polanco, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 7, 2022, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Domingo Lopez, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Polanco was born June 21, 1929 in Del Rio to Severo and Inez Hernandez Polanco. Louis married Dora Elia Polanco on June 30, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho. She preceded him in death on November 2, 2016. Louis was known as the little "Tool Man: on Bell St. corner. He loved to fix, paint, and sell tools.

Survivors include a daughter, Rebecca Flores and husband Harvey of San Angelo; three sons, Joel Polanco, Raul Polanco and wife Delia, and Erlu Polanco and wife Norma all of San Angelo; numerous grandchildren; and great grandchildren. Louis is preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Victoria Polanco; and a brother, Perfecto Polanco.
