Mandy Yvonne Lowry

Mandy Yvonne Gutierrez Lowry, 45 of San Angelo, unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Friday, February 25, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.


Mandy was born on July 26, 1976 in San Angelo to Suzanne Christine Gutierrez Montagne and the late Jesse Gutierrez, Sr. Mandy was raised in San Angelo where she attended elementary and junior high. During her high school years, she attended Ashbrook High School in North Carolina and graduated in 1994. After high school she continued her education in optometry and went on to join the Army Reserve. Mandy worked in a variety of local businesses in our community such as The Gin and Granary, Giz and Hums and Lone Wolf Pub where she was able to serve the public, meet new people and build lasting friendships with her customers and coworkers. Mandy was relentless when it came to working hard and caring for her family especially her son Henry. She enjoyed the simple things in life and took pleasure in making the best of any situation. She loved music, the outdoors and being with her family. Everyone would agree that two of her best qualities were her genuine personality and her extremely infectious laugh. She had the best laugh that would definitely put a smile on your face. Mandy's love for her son was like no other. If asked, she would tell the world her greatest accomplishment was a being a mother to the love of her life, the ying to her yang, the person who completed her, her son, Henry Martinez, III. Mandy was loved dearly by all who knew her, and she will be missed immensely. The family would like to thank Johnny Garcia and the My Bar staff for all help throughout the years.


Survivors include her son, Henry Martinez III of San Angelo; her mother, Suzanne Christine Montagne of San Angelo; her brothers, Jesse Gutierrez, Jr. of San Angelo and Steven Rocha of San Angelo; many nieces, nephews, a great nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Mandy was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Gutierrez Sr.; grandparents, Inez and Ysidra Gutierrez, Lou and Tony Galindo; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
