Margie Dee (Thames) Henson

Margie Thames Henson, 90, passed away Friday, February 11, 2022, in San Angelo.

Graveside services were held February 15, 2022 at Fairmount Cemetery in San Angelo, Texas under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Henson was born February 23, 1931 to Robert "Bob" and Lou Thames in Colorado City. Margie married the love of her life William "Bill" Henson in 1942. He preceded her in death later in life. Margie was a LVN for Shannon Medical Center for 39 years. Margie was an oil painter in her free time. She entered many works of art in the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo where she won honorable mention several times.

Survivors include her precious son, Robert Henson of San Angelo; two granddaughters, Amanda Henson and Samantha Henson both of San Angelo; three great grandchildren, Jariot R. Thrower, Autumn S. Thrower both of San Angelo and Logan Lawson of Abilene; two great-great grandchildren; Alice Kade and Venus Amethyst. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and five sisters.
