Mary Ruth Kreutzer

Mary Kreutzer, of Longford, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, in San Angelo. Public Viewing will be from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, April, 17, 2019, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Sherwood Cemetery, Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. Mary Ruthie Kreutzer was born in Longford to Tempa Mills & John Mills on June 23, 1936. She went to school at Chase, Kansas. She married Jerome Kreutzer on December 10, 1955 in Lions, Kansas. She graduated from Howard College at age 40. She worked as an LVN for 20 years. She was the youngest of 11 children. Ruthie was very invested in her children and her family. Family vacations and get togethers were always a favorite of hers, just like dancing in the kitchen with her husband just because a good song was on was also very close to her heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Tempa Mills; her husband, Jerome Kreutzer; two sons, John Sallee, and Gerald Kreutzer; and a grandson, Nathan Kreutzer. Survivors include her daughter, Helen James and husband Jesse; a sister, Helen Spiller; and a brother-in-law, Robert Kreutzer; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren.
