MURPHY M. LOWELL JR

Lowell Murphy passed away peacefully in San Ramon, California on July 5, 2004. At his bedside was Geneva, his wife of 59 years. Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 12, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Rev. Garry Bevins officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Garden. Mr. Murphy was a WWII veteran who served in the Army Air Corps where he attended flight school in Mississippi. He was an accomplished racecar driver and promoter and raced until 1960. A long time resident of San Angelo he worked as an electrician for SESCO for 31 years and eventually owned San Angelo Electric Motor Repair for another 21 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Robert Murphy. Survivors are: Wife:Geneva Murphy Son:Gary Murphy and wife, Judy All of San Ramon, California Two Sisters:Jane Prince of E.
