Paul Carbajal, 60, of San Angelo, Texas passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Shannon Hospital. He was born in San Angelo on August 20, 1963 to Gilbert and Antonia Carbajal.
Paul met and married his wife Juanita Carbajal on May 5th, 1979. Together they had 6 children and raised 4 grandchildren. Paul then started his career as a plumber at the age of 15 and continued working until he became blind. He finished his plumbing career at McCarley Plumbing. Paul then started a new career at the West Texas Lighthouse in 2015 making pens which he was proud of even though having a disability. As Paul stated " Era plomero y ahora soy plumero." He wasn't just good at his job, he was a wonderful husband, Father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Paul was a proud member of the Kingdom Hall and had a passion for Jehovah's World. One thing about Paul he had a strong faith. He always was looking forward to one day being able to see again and be free of any health issues such as doing dialysis 3 times a week. He is now at peace, no more pain, no more suffering.
Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Carbajal; sister, Violet Ybarra; and brother-in-law, Richard Ybarra.

Paul will be remembered as a loving, caring person. He loved sitting outside, listening to music, barbecuing, and traveling. He loved being surrounded by his family and friends, having a good time. He always had a helping hand to anyone and everyone. He was also known for always putting other's needs first before his own. He always wanted everyone to be united together. Everyone knew him as Papo/Whapo.
