Pedro Pinales Galvan

Pedro "Pete" Galvan, 92, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Liturgy of the Word will be 10:00 AM Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home with Deacon Jessie Aguirre, officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Galvan was born June 29, 1930 in Zaragoza, Mexico. Pedro married Maria Magdalena Soto in 1957. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2018. Pedro has been a resident of San Angelo since 1972. He was a catholic. Pedro was a rancher and trapper for many years retiring in 1982. Pedro loved fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. Pedro was a handyman. Pedro fulfilled his duty as husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. Pedro showed his children and grandchildren the definition of hard work and what it takes to raise a family. Survivors include his three sons, Catarino Galvan and wife Patsy Montes, Martin Galvan, and Carlos Galvan and wife Corina all of San Angelo; two daughters, Theresa Galvan of San Antonio and Maggie Galvan of San Angelo; 14 grandchildren, Rachel Galvan, Joseph Galvan, Kristin Montes, David Montes, Rudi Tarango, Petey Galvan, Martin Galvan, Jr., Crystal Ybarra, Carlos Ray Fitchett, Jonathan Galvan, Justin Galvan, Jeremy Galvan, Melony Moran and Jacob Moran, and many great grandchildren. Pedro is preceded on death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters.

Pedro is reunited with a granddaughter, Jasmine Gonzales and his two great grandchildren in Heaven.
