POMPOSA M. LUNA

Pomposa M. Luna, 76, of San Angelo passed away Sunday, September 5, 2004 at her residence. Rosary services were held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass of Christian burial was held 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at St. Mary Catholic church with Rev. Terry Brennon officiating. Burial was at Calvary cemetery. Arrangements are by Robert Massie funeral home. Pomposa was born September 18, 1927 in Karnes City, TX. to Natividad and Guadalupe Hernandez. She married David B. Luna in November 15, 1946 in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic church. Pomposa is preceded in death by; her husband, David who passed away June 18, 1994, three daughters; Alice Lombrana, Esther and Estella Luna, Her parents; Natividad and Guadalupe Hernandez and her step-mother, Felicana Hernandez, three brothers; Juan, Francisco and Crecencio Hernandez and one sister, Juana Ramos Pomposa is survived by: five sons; Benito, Danny, Bobby and Rudy all from San Angelo and David from Mt. Vernon, Ohio. Five daughters; Maria Vasquez, Gloria Flores, Beatrice Muniz, Esther Talamantez and Estella Ramirez, all from San Angelo, Thirty-one Grandchildren, 38 Great- Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandson, Three brothers; Margarito and Luther Hernandez from Siminole, TX. and Natividad Hernandez from Cotton Wood, TX, Three sisters; Santos Hernandez from Hobbs, N.M., Maria V. Grijahva and Rebecca Andrade, both from Hurst, TX. Pallbearers were Elizabeth Talamantes, Erica Pedroza, Rudy Luna Jr., Mike Lombrana, Gabriel Lombrana and Gilbert Pedroza. Honorary Pallbearers were Martin Medrano and Iris Hernandez "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, That whosoever shall believe in Him, shall not perish But have everlasting life" John 3:16
