On the afternoon of August 4, 2021, our loving Rhonda A. Underwood, went to be with our Lord and Saviour.

Rhonda, 60, was born in Lula, Georgia on March 23, 1961, to her late parents Howard M. Worley and Joyce Loggins-Worley. Rhonda graduated from East Hall High School, following her graduation she traveled with her family to start their new life in Texas, due to her father's work transfer.

Rhonda spent most of her adult life in Insurance, she was a hard worker. She spent many loyal years at Lane-White Insurance agency until this companies' business was purchased by Trimble-Bajter Insurance. Rhonda made the transition to her new office reluctantly, she was not a person who necessarily enjoyed change...however, she grew to love her work family and she spent the remaining years as a trusted CRS. I know that her Trimble-Bajter family and customers will forever be changed by her kind, helpful and loving spirit.

Rhonda has always been such a caring person, so it was no wonder that she spent so many years caring for her parents when they were ill, this didn't leave much time for a social life. It wasn't until 2007, that she met the love of her life, Allan Underwood. They married a few years later, despite some struggles Allan faced with his health. They made one another extremely happy! Allan faced even more difficulties with his health, and what a gift it was to have Rhonda there to care for him. Although they had many struggles with Allans' health, Rhonda loved being with her husband and enjoyed the time spent with him, Allan proceeded her in death in January of 2019.

Rhonda, was a kind-hearted, loving, sweet soul that our Lord knew was very tired and weary from her long battle with heart disease. His Mercy was just, as He led her home peacefully with her little sister, Kristi, and her husband Don "Jay", by her side, holding her hands.

Rhonda is survived by her sister, Kristi Hollowell and husband Donald; their 4 boys, Brent Howard Wilcox, Beaumont Christopher Wilcox, Bennett Jaymeson Hollowell, and Bryant William Hollowell, whom she spent almost the last year of her life, living with them, being a part of their crazy family life, which she enjoyed so very much; sister, Tamela Clark and husband Jerry; a sister, Sheri Smith and husband Jimmy; niece, Savannah Cowley and husband Will; great-nephew, Stetson Cowley; niece, Madison Clark; Stepsons, Jared Underwood and wife Shannon, Coye Underwood, and partner Angelo, and Jay Underwood; mother-in-Law, Iona Underwood; sisters-in-law, Karen Cortinaz and husband Richard, and Pamela Melton and husband Greg; brothers-in-law, Charlie Underwood and wife Ruthann, and Jimmie Underwood and wife Nita.

The one thing, we as a family are holding tight to during this time of tremendous loss of such an amazing woman, is the wonderful and kind thoughts and prayers from so many people who loved Rhonda dearly. So many have told us, how much she loved her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Those were Her Boys and Her Girls, and she was Their NONA. More often than not, when the parents said no, NONA said yes! She loved them with her whole heart, and She loved them big!

Memorial services will be at 10:30 AM Thursday at PaulAnn Church with Rev. Kirt Dauphin, pastor, officiating. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
