Rudy G. Perez Rudy G. Perez, 77, of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004 in a local nursing home. Mass of Christian service will be 10:00 AM, Monday, May 10, 2004 at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio. Rudy was born on December 19, 1926 in San Antonio, TX to Apolonio and Vincenta Garza Perez. Rudy married Olivia Rangel in 1967 in San Angelo; she passed away on March 8, 1989. He was a U.S. Air force Veteran serving his country for over twenty years, starting during WW II in 1945 and retiring from the Air Force during the Vietnam War in 1966. He was preceded in death by his parents, Apolonio and Vincenta Perez, three sisters and three brothers. Survivors are: Five sons: Rudy G. Perez, Jr. and wife ApriL of Albuquerque, NM Daniel R. Perez and wife Claudia of Dallas Henry R. Perez of San Angelo Samuel R. Perez of San Angelo Michael Chapman of England, UK Daughter:Oralia Jasso and husband Jerry of San Angelo Grandson:Jordan Perez of San Angelo Granddaughter:Jessica M. Jasso San Antonio Granddaughter:Janel M. Jasso San Antonio Grandson:Ramon G. Jasso, Jr. San Angelo Granddaughter:Marie Garcia of Albuquerque, NM Great grandson:Jamanie Hooper of San Antonio Two Great-granddaughters:Caitlina Garcia Celeste Garcia both of Albuquerque, NM Brother:Apolonio Perez, Jr. of Chicago, IL Pallbearers will be Jesse Cortinas, Ygnacio Castillo, Charlie Hinojos, Raymond Castillo, Eloy Garcia and Albert Blanco. The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff on the 5 South at Shannon Hospital. Also a special thank you to Riverside Nursing Home and Hospice of San Angelo.
