SIXTO ORONA MARTINEZ

Sixto Orona Martinez, 66, of San Angelo, passed away Monday, July 12, 2004 in a local hospital. Mass of Christian service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 15, 2004 at the St. Thomas Catholic Church in Miles, with Father M. Bhaskar officiating. Burial will follow at the Miles Cemetery. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Sixto was born March 28, 1938 in Mertzon to Tomas and Fernanda Martinez. He was a hard working man having worked for Larson and Pugh Construction in Austin for numerous years. Sixto was a quiet, loving man and a wonderful Uncle. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. He will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Andrea Martinez, parents Tomas and Fernanda Martinez, daughters Fernanda and Valentina Martinez and a brother Juan Martinez. Survivors are: Three Sons:Frank Martinez and wife, Vivian Juan Martinez Of Amarillo Sixto Martinez Jr of Dallas Daughter:Lupe Orona and husband, David of Dallas Brother:Apolinar Martinez of Abernathy Eight grandsons Three granddaughters Numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Fernando Martinez, Benji Martinez, Frankie Martinez, Lyle Mota, Thomas Martinez, and Juan Martinez Jr. Honorary pallbearer is Jesse Martinez
