Willie Hooker, 74, of San Angelo, passed away Monday, July 12, 2004 in Lubbock. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Van Vandergrass officiating. Arrangements are made by Robert Massie Funeral Home. Willie was born November 10, 1929 in San Antonio, TX, to Verdo and Agnes Hooker. He was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Willie worked for M.L. Leddys, Robert Massie Furniture Store, Trend Furniture and Coopers Interiors. Willie's hobbies were camping and woodwork. Willie especially loved playing with his great-grandchildren. Willie's "best friend" Tiny dog was always near by and eager to play. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and Tiny dog. He was preceded in death by Parents, Verdo and Agnes Hooker and grandson Chad Allen Hooker. Survivors are: Wife:Bonnie Hooker of San Angelo Two Sons:Donnie Hooker and wife, Sheila of Houston Ricky Hooker and friend, Marilynn Baran of San Angelo Sister:Helen Easterly Brother:Alton Hooker and wife, Patricia of San Angelo Grandchildren:Michelle and Jeremy McNutt, Misti Hooker and Phillip Cobb, Brittany Hooker,Coy Chapman Great-grandchildren:Macy and Bryson McNutt, Macy Cobb Numerous:Nieces and Nephews Best Friends:Jim and Betty McEachern, Harry and Faye Jones and Mickey and Kathy Walraven. Pallbearers will be Craig Kleypas, Ronnie Hooker, Roy Easterly, Mike Hooker, Jeremy McNutt, Phillip Cobb and Tommy Bullock.
