Conrado Barrera

Conrado Barrera, Jr., 68, of San Angelo passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home. There will be no public viewing.

Mr. Barrera was born on August 3, 1954 in Matamoros, Mexico to Conrado, Sr. and Hipolita Rodriguez Barrera. He moved to San Angelo in 1973 and shortly thereafter met the love of his life, Rosalinda Guevara. They were married on July 2, 1974 in San Angelo. Conrado worked for the local tire companies before moving to Ethicon. He started his career at Ethicon in 1985 working in production and later transitioned into the packing department. Conrado retired from Ethicon in 2016. He was a follower of Christ and enjoyed reading his bible and ministering to friends and family. He and Rosalinda enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rosalinda; three children, Gavino Barrera and Conrado Barrera III and wife Monica all of San Angelo, and Paula Barrera and husband Joey Velez of Austin; five siblings, Lydia Ponce of Dallas, Antonia Marez and husband Neo, Mario Barrera, Jesse Barrera and wife Blanca all of San Angelo, and Yolanda Barrera of Houston; 8 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his best friend, Jesse Sanchez and wife Gloria of San Angelo.
