David Ross Buck

David Ross Buck, 69, passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, in San Angelo.

Memorial Services will be at 3:15 PM Thursday, October 26, 2023, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Grand Prairie under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Buck was born July 10, 1954 in Grand Prairie to Rex and Mary Buck. David was raised in Grand Prairie and enlisted into the US Navy as a clerk serving 15 years in Florida, Virginia and on the USS Biddle. David was a Baptist. He was a supervisor at the State School in Carlsbad. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. David liked woodworking.

Survivors include his wife, Jeffie Madkins of the home; a brother, Rex Glen Buck and wife Glenda of Grand Prairie; and two stepsons, Andrew Madkins of Tampa, Florida, and Stephen Madkins of San Angelo; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Julie Bird.
