Dionicia Villegas San Miguel

Our loving mother, Dionicia Villegas San Miguel, sadly passed away peacefully at her home in San Angelo on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at the age of 93.

Public viewing will be from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Robert Massie Funeral Home with a rosary being said at 6:00 PM. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Monday, April 24, 2023 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Rev. Lazaro Hernandez, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mom was born in Sanderson, Texas on April 8, 1930, to Manuel and Elvira Villegas. Dionicia met Francisco A. San Miguel in Sanderson and they were married on May 13, 1946. She was a loving and caring mom who always put the needs of her children first. Mom faithfully attended church every Sunday and prayed continuously for all her friends and family.

Mom was preceded in death by her loving husband, Francisco A. San Miguel; a baby daughter, Gloria; and her son, Frank San Miguel Jr.; three grandchildren, Frankie San Miguel, Johnathon Maldonado, and Lupe Tanguma.

She is survived by seven children, Elvira and her husband David Ramirez, Camille and her husband Luis Maldonado, Dr. Virginia San Miguel and her husband Roberto Soto, Manuel San Miguel and his wife Anne San Miguel, Lupe and her husband Joe Rivas, Albert and his wife Julie San Miguel, Cynthia and her husband Louie Salcedo; numerous grandchildren; some great grandchildren; and a few great-great grandchildren.

Mom was the anchor of our family and we always gravitated to her and depended on her to guide us through life. She will be sorely missed but will always be in our hearts. We love you Mom.
