Emma Perez Luna, 72, passed away Monday, May 30, 2022, in San Angelo.

Public viewing will be from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM with the rosary being at 6:00 PM Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel with Deacon Claudio Sanchez, officiating. Mass will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 2, 2022, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Sonora with Father Tony Franco, officiating. Burial will follow at Sonora Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Luna was born February 26, 1950 in Sonora to Dolores and Emilia Perez. Emma married Robert Luna on June 20, 1979 in Sonora. She has been a resident of San Angelo since 1991. Emma was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Sonora. Emma like to sew, go to garage sales, and being on Facebook. She loved to be with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; a son, David Rodriguez Sr., and wife Erica Martinez of San Angelo; three daughters, Nancy Sandoval of San Angelo, Elsa O'Neal and husband Frank, Sr., of Stanton, and Emily Saldana and husband Eric of Eldorado; a brother, Tino Perez of Mertzon; 19 grandchildren, Nicole, Rick, David Jr., Ivan, Steven, Leslie, Frank Jr., Samantha, Jasmin, Melissa, Melanie, Mya, Elias, Robert, Shookie, Lizzy, Richie, Keilah, and Joseph; 32 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephew, cousins and friends. Emma was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond Perez, and Tomas Perez; and a sister, Rosa Suarez.
