Ezekiel Sosa

Ezekiel Sosa, 27, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Prayer service will be 7:00 PM Wednesday, September 6, 2023, at Big Lake Apostolic Church. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Big Lake Apostolic Church with Gabriel Romero, officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Rest Cemetery under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Ezekiel Sosa was born August 28, 1996 to Gerardo and Rosalinda Sosa. Ezekiel was a young man that was so full of life. His smile would light up the room and his presence always elevated the ambiance of the party. He loved to be with his friends and play video games with them everyday. He especially loved family holidays as he was always ready to sing and eat. At the age of 11, he was baptized in the name of Jesus at the Big Lake Apostolic Church by Rev. Jesus Solis. Ezekiel was a gifted piano and guitar player. He was an excellent friend who was always checking on everyone and making sure they were on the right path. His immediate family was his passion as he was always wanting to make sure they were taken care of and ready to watch the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday night. Ezekiel fulfilled his dream to be a professional truck driver and passed away doing what he loved. He touched so many lives and will be missed by all.

He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Jesus & Fernanda Sosa, Juan & Beatriz Sanchez. Nephew Oziel Arredondo.

Ezekiel is survived by his parents, Gerardo & Rosalinda Sosa; two sisters Yuriko & José Aredondo of Big Lake and Noemi & Matt of Stonewall, Louisiana; two brothers, Ivan Sosa and Freddy Rocha of Big Lake; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his dog, Drake Sosa.
