Jose G Medina

Jose G. Medina, 71, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 9, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2023, with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Joey Faylona, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Medina was born November 30, 1951, in San Miguel Octopan, Guanajuato, Mexico to Jesus and Ignacia Palma Medina. He then moved to the United States in 1974 where he began his 35 year long career in construction. He met and married the love of his life, Gloria Morales on December 4, 2017. Jose was a loving and kind man who never met a stranger, if you came across him in life than you were sure to have a friend for life. He was a hard worker who always provided for his family, whom he loved dearly. Jose loved to garden, cook, bake, watch sports on television, but also watch his grandkids play sports.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Medina of the home; three daughters, Maria Isabel Garza and husband Nicolas of Edinburg, Maria Veronica Terrazas and husband Guy, and Sandra Martinez, both of San Angelo; two sons, Robert Jaime Medina and wife Cindy, and Greg Martinez, both of San Angelo; Nine grandchildren, Aaron, Elijah, Mychael, Giovanni, Nick, Jr., Alexis, Mia, Leo, and Lia; one great grandson, Jace; and a sister Abigail Medina Palma of Mexico.

Jose was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Maria Cristal Medina, and 12 siblings.
