Kay Pullig, 79, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, in San Angelo.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday, January 3, 2022, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jeff Gibson, pastor of Harriett Baptist Church, officiating under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Pullig was born September 20, in 1942 in Brownwood to Guy and Sarah Keeler. Kay married Gary Pullig in 1960. He preceded her in death on November 22, 2010. Kay then married Jack Rea 2000, who also preceded her in death on August 16, 2016. Kay has been a resident of San Angelo for over 50 years. Kay was a teacher at Bowie Elementary School most of her career retiring in 2003. After retirement she taught ESL at Howard College for 8 years. Kay was very strong in faith and a member of Glenn Meadows Baptist Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts and she has written several children's books, soon to be published.

Survivors include her son, Chris Pullig and wife Anissa of Miles; her daughter, Keely Wolfe of San Angelo; four grandchildren, J.P. Wolfe of Denver, Colorado, Jordan Layman, Jacob Layman both of San Angelo, and Keeler Pullig of Miles; a stepson, Todd Rea and wife Julie of San Angelo; four step-grandchildren, Harley Rhoads and husband Jordan, Avery Sheppard and husband Garrett, Madi Rae all of San Angelo, and Tyler Guthrie of Ft. Collins Colorado.
