Kit Cavy Kolb

Kit Cavy Kolb, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at his home.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Monday, November 13, 2023, at Ivy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mr. Kolb was born May 16, 1944, in San Angelo to Howard and Vicie Kolb, where he was a lifelong resident. Kit loved to hunt, fish, camp, and drink coffee. He enjoyed a good breakfast while camping and thanking God for the view. Kit loved to talk to people about God and to make sure they knew of his love and about their salvation. He was part of a lot of different ministries. Kit was a missionary in Russia, India, and other places. If you asked him to pray for or with you, he would stop everything and offer a prayer on the spot. Kit never hid his past but always showed who God was and how he forgives us. Kit loved to take his grandchildren to the movies and to stop at the Dollar Store on the way home. His greatest fun was playing with his great grands and taking them shopping for toys.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Wesley Kolb; and a sister, Glenda Stier.

Kit is survived by his daughter, Betty Ann (Kolb) Lopez; his sister, Verna Dunn; his two grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
