Mark Lynn Young

Mark Lynn Young, 52 of Big Lake, Texas passed away on April 10, 2023, at his home in Big Lake.

Mark was born in Big Lake to Donald and Janet Young on October 22, 1970. He was raised in Big Lake and graduated from Reagan County High School in 1989. After Graduation Mark Started his career in the oil fields of Reagan County. Throughout his career, operating a backhoe was one of his favorite things to do. Mark was currently self-employed and had been a pumper for himself since 2010.
   
As many will know, one of Marks favorite things to do was to pitch washers and BBQ. Of course, we couldn't leave out that he definitely always enjoyed having a cold one. He was one of a kind and special to many people. Mark had a heart that not many people knew he had. Mark also loved to play baseball and excelled in the game. Mark played baseball while he lived in San Saba, Texas the place he loved the most. I would love to say that I, (Jaron) was the greatest thing to happen to my dad, unfortunately his grandson Carson made this man the happiest I've ever seen him. Dad, Pa, Mark, Charko you will be missed, more than you would've ever known.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Janet Young, and best friend Willie Young. Mark is survived by his Son Jaron and wife Elizabeth Young of Big Lake, Grandchildren Carson, Elissa, Keegan and Kaidence. Soulmate Alisha Young of Big Lake. Brother Michael and wife Sonja Young of San Angelo, Texas. Sister Deborah Young of San Angelo, Texas. Aunt Connie Young Ivy of Marble Falls. And many cousins but one to be mentioned was his favorite Mackenzie Cool of Marble Falls.

A private celebration of life will be held on April 22, 2023 for family and close friends. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.
