Mary Doerr

Mary Doerr, 85, of San Angelo passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 23, 2023 at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mrs. Doerr was born on May 14, 1938 in Aurora, Indiana to Floyd and Ellen Gooderson Pohlman. She graduated from Dearborn High School. Mary married Paul Thomas "PT" Doerr and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2007. She moved to San Angelo in 1964. Mary was a homemaker and later worked in the cafeteria for Angelo Catholic Schools. She loved puzzles, was a quiet person who enjoyed laughing. She never missed watching her favorite sports teams the Cincinnati Reds and the Dallas Stars. As a mother, there was nothing she would do for her children. Up till her death, she was totally devoted to them. For spirituality she was a member at Holy Angels Catholic Church.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Paul Doerr Jr.

Mary is survived by two sons, Michael Doerr and Stephen Doerr both of San Angelo; a daughter, Patricia Woods and her husband Don of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; a brother, Jerry Pohlman and wife Debra of Harrison Ohio; and four grandchildren.
