Michael Dave Scroggs

Mike Scroggs, 56, of San Angelo passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. The burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road, Fort Worth, Texas 76107, under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Mike was born on June 16, 1966, in Madison, Wisconsin to Dr. M. G. and Carolyn Scroggs. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1984. Mike was a maintenance supervisor at Iowa Beef Processors in Amarillo for five years before working as a land surveyor. He then became a welder and fabricator at B & W Trailers for many years. At the time of his death, Mike owned and operated Arc Angles Welding. He was an avid motorcycle rider, owning Harley's and dirt bikes. Mike was a competitive team penner with his father and brother. He also loved NASCAR; he was even able to drive a stock car at Texas Motor Speedway. Mike never met a stranger and was loved by many.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Boyd Scroggs in 2020.

Mike is survived by two sons, Austin Scroggs and wife Morgan of Rowena and Jacob Madrid of Tennessee; his fiancé, Tena Wilson and her two sons, Christopher Rutledge of San Angelo and Shane Manitzas and wife Megan; his father, Dr. M. G. Scroggs of San Angelo; his brother Mark Scroggs and wife Christine of Amarillo; and six grandchildren, Everlee, Landree, Chloe, Caydence, Thomas, and Anastasia.
