Peggy Lee (Hill) Huerta

It is with profound sadness that the family of Peggy Lee Huerta, 64, announce she went to be with our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 21, 2021, in San Angelo.

A celebration of Peggy's life will be a public viewing from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM with the Rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Liturgy of the word will be at 10:00 AM Monday, September 27, 2021, at Robert Massie Funeral Home with Deacon Claudio Sanchez, officiating. Burial will follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Peggy was born July 10, 1957, in San Angelo where she was a 1976 graduate of Central High School. Peggy married the love of her life, Angel Huerta on March 29, 1976 in San Angelo. After their marriage she moved to various places where he was stationed for the United States Army and returned to San Angelo in 1995 after Angel's retirement. Peggy worked in the Cafeteria at Santa Rita Elementary and Central High School retiring in 2010. Peggy loved spending time with her family and helping with her 5 granddaughters.

She will be missed by her husband, Angel Huerta; three daughters, Amanda Porras and husband Frank, Angela Huerta and fiancé Ernesto Salcido, and Christina Huerta all of San Angelo; and son, Joe Huerta and wife Lindsey of San Angelo; five granddaughters, Alysia, Isabella, Emily, Eliya, and Avery; two sisters, Odelia Flores and husband Frank, and Janie Torres and husband Mario all of San Angelo; two brothers, David Hill and wife Mary Jane, and Randy Hill and wife Carmen all of San Angelo. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Delfino and Frances Hill; two sisters, Mary Ann Hill and Ruby Hill; and brother, Delfino Hill, Jr.

She will be deeply missed and our memories of her will be forever cherished.
