Rose R. Quintana, 89, passed away, Wednesday, November 10, 2021, in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Rose Rachel Quintana was born in Frederick, Colorado on September 4, 1932 to Savino and Pauline Camacho. Rose was married three times in her life, first to Alonzo S. Nieto Sr., secondly to Joseph R. Rose has been a San Angelo resident for over 35 years. She traveled the world with her husband Eloy, who was a Master Sargent in the Marines, to places including Kuwait, Israel, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Cypress, and France. She led a very private life, filled with craft hobbies including crochet, knitting, the reading of thousands of books, and the collecting of figurines such as Hummels. She enjoyed playing games of mahjong, word seek, solitaire, and cross word puzzles. She was a wonderful cook, loving mother and wife, and a shining light to all who had the pleasure of meeting her.

She is survived by her children, Alonzo S. Nieto, Alice M. Carlson,
Joseph S. Nieto, Yolanda M.N. Marrow, and Lucinda P. Muñoz; siblings, Romaldo Camacho, Medardo Camacho and Sofia Camacho; grandchildren, Christina Noel Seifert, Eric Alonzo Nieto, Ozzo J. Marrow II, Genevieve Rose Nieto, Joseph Savino Nieto Jr., Jacob Savino Nieto, and Jerah Alise Perkins, and Joseph "JoJo" Rueben Gradoz, Jr; great grandchildren, Aliyah Grace Nieto, Lillyanna Sky Nieto, Stella Belén Perkins.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Chang for taking care of our mom through the years, and to nurse, Tammy Celaya of St. Gabriel's Hospice for her loving care.

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
