William David Tate

William David Tate, 67, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2022, in Fort Worth.

Public viewing will be from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM Monday, June 20, 2022, at Robert Massie Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home.

Dave was born September 27, 1954 in Fort Hood to W.D. and Bobbie Tate. David was a 1973 graduate of San Angelo Central High School. Dave has been a resident of San Angelo for the past 20 years moving from Austin. Dave worked for Borders States Electrical Supply and Armstrong Electric, retiring in 2018.

Dave was a gifted artist and musician. He enjoyed making and listening to music, attending concerts, and creating art. Dave found his greatest joy being with family and friends, whom he loved and cared for dearly. Dave lived life to the fullest, day by day. He was one of a kind and left a lasting impact on everyone he met.

Survivors include his son, Mason Tate and wife Katherine Tate of Austin; his daughter, Sarah Tate and fiancé Sam Truitt of Austin; and his two grandchildren, Royce Truitt and Harper Truitt of Austin. Dave was preceded in death by his parents.
